Hurr duur

Some quick stuff for class tomorrow (while watching copious amounts of Mad Men):

...always room for improvement.

Maybe next time I'll get a little gutsier and move away from the realm of flat, solid colors (aka, COMFORT ZONE GYAH.)

Currently in a watercolor/gouache class! While I was originally partial to gouache, I have begun to take a liking to watercolor, and maybe, even, (gasp!) the combination of both. Gouache alone is still my favorite, but here are some fruits of my labor from varying points in the semester (going from newest to oldest):

The little parakeet paintings are probably my favorites...along with those little button quails. We got to paint them from life while they puttered around and they were super super cute.*^*
